Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulates the care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations. They aim to make sure better care is provided for everyone - in hospitals, care homes and people's own homes.

Harmoni is committed to delivering high quality care to its patients. We will register the healthcare services we provide within the out of hours setting and the GP led health centres with the CQC in April 2012. We have already registered the Suffolk Dental Service.

In preparation for this, we have prepared a series of compliance audits, checked against the required CQC outcomes, to review our services and the quality of care we provide. We have used the Standards of Better Health, CQC Provider Compliance Assessment Tool and integrated these standards with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 to which we are certificated.
