Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act (2000) was introduced to oversee access to information held by publicly funded bodies. The act gives individuals or organisations the right to request information held by a public authority.
As an independent provider of health services, however, Harmoni is not a public authority and therefore does not need to comply with all aspects of the Freedom of Information Act (2000).
If you would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please contact the NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT) in your area. When asked for information by the PCTs who commission us to provide services on their behalf, Harmoni will comply with all requests that are not commercially confidential or in breach of the guiding principles of the Data Protection Act (1998).
