What are my options?

Salaried clinical roles

As a salaried employee, you will receive a contract of employment with Harmoni for an agreed number of hours. This allows you to guarantee work and stability of income. 

This role can also be completed on a fixed term contract which gives you a contract for a set period of time, usually 6 or 12 months. This will benefit individuals who do not wish to be tied down into a permanent role.

Salaried employees will be paid monthly via the Harmoni payroll system and this will be for the net amount as Harmoni will take responsibility for paying statutory deductions of national insurance and tax.

Flexi clinical roles

As a flexi clinician you will receive a contract of employment with Harmoni but for zero hours. Shifts will be communicated to you by the rota team and you have the option to either accept or decline these shifts. You will also be able to contact the team directly and advise of days and dates that you would be available to work. This role allows you to be flexible in when you work but does not give you any guarantee of shifts with Harmoni.

Flexi clinicians will be paid via the Harmoni payroll system for the net amount as Harmoni will take responsibility for paying statutory deductions of national insurance and tax. 

Flexi clinicians are entitled to quarterly holiday pay and other employment benefits offered by Harmoni.

Self employed roles (GPs and ANPs only)

As a self employed GP or ANP with Harmoni, you will receive a contract of services to provide medical services on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts will be communicated to you by the rota team and you have an option to either accept or decline these shifts. You will also be able to contact the team directly and advise of days and dates that you would be available to work. This role gives you flexibility for when you work but does not give you any guarantee of shifts with Harmoni.

Payment will be for the gross amount and as a self employed GP or ANP it would be your responsibility to pay statutory deductions for national insurance and tax.

As a self employed GP or ANP you would not be entitled to holiday pay, sick pay or any other employment benefits offered by Harmoni.
